Project Description

On the outskirts of Utrecht, BOB Autowas will open a brand-new car wash in 2026, responding to the growing demand for sustainable and efficient mobility services. The modern complex combines innovative washing technology with a strong focus on customer experience. The building has been designed with transparent facades, sustainable materials, and an inviting appearance that fits within Utrecht's urban development.

The new location features an automated car wash, a spacious vacuuming area, and energy-efficient installations for water recycling and heat recovery. Smart routing and a clear layout ensure a quick process, while visitors benefit from a comfortable and high-quality service environment.

Architectural Design

The car wash's design is characterised by a modern and dynamic aesthetic with extensive use of glass and aluminium accents. The transparent facades provide visibility from the public road and enhance the building's open appearance. In the evening hours, the property is subtly illuminated, making the building a recognisable element within the area.

The combination of functional business architecture and high-quality detailing ensures that the location is not only practical but also visually appealing.

Sustainability and Innovation

During the development of the new BOB Car Wash, sustainability was central. The building is equipped with solar panels, water recycling systems, and energy-efficient installations that contribute to minimal environmental impact.

In addition, considerable attention has been paid to the site's layout with green zones, sustainable paving, and safe traffic management for visitors and staff.
