Project Description

The Varrolaan 50 – 100 project in Utrecht consists of revitalising the social heart of the office building and phasing the renovation of the vacant floors on a shell and core basis according to the design-build design by Ditt Officemakers. At the main entrance, a new garden with various seating areas and greenery will be created on the exterior. Upon entering, a bar will be provided for reception. This bar is multifunctional, serving as a coffee bar with workstations. Next to the coffee bar, a restaurant will be set up. The building will be equipped with a D2e Entrance at the level of building section A. Building section A is connected to the social heart (building section C) by means of an Art Gallery. Various meeting rooms and call spaces have been realised in the Art Gallery. The revitalisation also includes the modernisation and refurbishment of the car park, in which 40 charging stations will be incorporated. During the renovation, various MJOP (Multi-Year Maintenance Plan) and sustainability works will also be integrated, consisting of the replacement of control cabinets, the application of LED lighting, and remedial work related to NEN3140 and legionella prevention.
