Project Description

On behalf of Kuijpers BV, the existing office building of Kuijpers Installaties in Den Bosch is being revitalised and extended. The extension involves a connection, consisting of three storeys including a green roof, between the existing office buildings. The aim was to progress from sustainability label D to energy label A and be Paris-Proof ready. To achieve this, all knowledge of engineering, sustainability, and integrity was combined and then applied. Energy-efficient working and sustainability manifests, among other things, through the application of extra insulation, Seasonal thermal energy storage, maximum reuse of existing building and installation components and LED lighting everywhere. In addition, the existing offices will be completely reconfigured and refitted. The total GFA for the project is approx. 4,150 m²². In addition to the building, the surrounding grounds will also be redeveloped.

The objective of the renovation is to meet current climate and sustainability requirements, with gas-free as the starting point. Furthermore, circular construction is a spearhead in this project.
