Project Description
The property at Parklaan 81 in Eindhoven is being converted into a new office environment. The entire project is broadly divided into three components:
- (Overdue) Exterior maintenance: the paintwork will be completely renewed and the facade will be cleaned. HR++ glazing, cavity wall and roof insulation will also be installed, wood rot and woodworm in one or more rafters of the roof structure will be removed, asbestos will be completely remediated, and the electrical, ventilation and water installations will be replaced. In addition, the building shell will be thermally improved by insulating it on the inside using stud walls.
- Renovation and fitting out as an office, including full site redevelopment; In accordance with the architect's design, the layout will be realised by means of new metal stud walls and glass partitions, and the demolition of existing walls. Furthermore, a completely new felt and plasterboard ceiling will be installed. Toilets will be constructed, along with various pantries and other bespoke furniture. Additionally, two voids will be created to connect the floors. The electrical and plumbing installations will also be fully implemented based on the new layout.
- Loose furniture: loose furniture and decoration will be installed.
