Project Description

This concerns the transformation of auditorium 2 at Pathé Spuimarkt into a so-called ScreenX auditorium. This is a new concept in the cinema industry, where additional screens are realised on the sides of the main screen. This creates a 270-degree panoramic image and offers visitors a completely new experience. In addition to the implementation of ScreenX technology, the seats have been replaced, the auditorium seating has been improved, the lighting has been renewed, and the carpet/PVC has been replaced. The total implementation period was just 4 weeks and was carried out in November 2019. Throughout the project, the cinema remained in operation at all times in accordance with its regular opening hours.
