Project Description

Commissioned by TrainMore, the realisation of the new TrainMore branch in Amsterdam commenced in 2014. The monumental bank building (Nederlands Indische Handelsbank 1912), located at Singel 250, was fully renovated into a gym with a lobby, a bar, and rooms for a dietician and physiotherapist, while preserving the building's monumental character.

VB&T Activities

vb&t Projectmanagement handled the total cost and project management from the initiation phase through to the aftercare phase. The project comprised the following activities:

• Prepare Programme of Requirements
• Project development with design team
• Cost management
• Selection, pricing and contract formation
• Management during construction

Additionally, vb&t handled the procurement and coordination for the interior.
