Project Description

Commissioned by TrainMore, the development of the new TrainMore branch in The Hague began in 2012. The monumental building at Dagelijkse Groenmarkt 19 has been completely renovated into a gym with changing rooms, a lobby, a bar and rooms for a dietician and physiotherapist, while retaining the building's character.

• (Cardio) Fitness: approximately 650 m²
• Physiotherapy, dietitian, and solarium: approximately 90 m²

vb&t Projectmanagement provided total cost and project management for this project, from the initiation phase through to the aftercare phase. The project involved the following activities:

• Prepare Programme of Requirements
• Project development with design team
• Cost management
• Selection, pricing and contract formation
• Management during construction

Additionally, vb&t has handled the procurement and coordination for the bespoke carpentry and furniture.
