The collaboration between vb&t Group, CHEOPS, and the study association SERVICE is a practical step towards connecting academic knowledge with professional practice.

February 2024

The cooperation between vb&t Group, CHEOPS, the study association of the Faculty of Architecture at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), and the study association SERVICE is a practical step towards connecting academic knowledge with professional practice.

This collaboration allows, on the one hand, student employees to gain valuable practical experience, which is a useful supplement to their studies, and on the other hand, it offers vb&t the opportunity to showcase itself to students (and future employees or clients/relationships) as a professional real estate party.

By welcoming working students from both CHEOPS and SERVICE, both vb&t Real Estate Management, vb&t Project Management and vb&t Fire Safety now offer a platform where theory meets practice. Students get the chance to apply their knowledge gained from the lecture benches to the reality of construction projects, which helps them refine their skills and deepen their understanding of the industry.

For us as vb&t Project Management, this collaboration is a way to connect directly with the next generation of professionals. The students bring new insights and ideas, gained during their studies at TU/e and through the services of SERVICE, which focuses on supporting students and research.

This collaboration benefits not only the students, who get a unique opportunity to put their academic knowledge into practice, but also vb&t Project Management, which can benefit from the fresh perspectives offered by the students. It is a collaboration that has the potential to enrich both the students' personal development and the projects they work on.

We look forward to seeing the results of this collaboration and how it can impact the construction and real estate sector. It is an example of how academic institutions and companies can work together to bridge the gap between education and practice, and how this can lead to mutual benefit and growth.
